Clay pigeon shooting
is a competitive affair and is enjoyed away from
the lodge. This is also a very sought after activity,
where groups can be divided into teams, or for the
individual that just wants to brush up on his shooting
skills! Ideally it could also be a dad/son challenge
and getting hooked by defining your natural shooting
skills. All equipment will be supplied, you need
only bring lots of enthusiasm along!
Silhouette shooting
is for the perfectionist showing his skill, or for
the beginner who wants to learn the art of aiming
and shooting exact.
Paint Ball - Paint
ball is one of the most sought after local activities.
Most teams consist of individuals or families or
a one on one dad/son challenge.
This is a fun filled action game loved by all.

The uniquely
natural designed “bushfield” for Paint
ball, is situated in a river bed with pine trees and
sand bag bunkers. Ideal for roughing it out in the
“wild” in this natural setting.
Participants
can bring their own gear or can hire it from us. Markers
(i.e. paint ball guns) and safety equipment can be
hired at a cost of R50 per person per day and paint
balls @ R30 per 100, participants need only to bring
old clothes/overalls to protect their clothes. If
participants should supply their own gear, we only
charge R45 per person per day for the usage of the
field.
Hiking
Trails - We have excellent hiking
trails on the reserve where you can explore the
surroundings and animal life. The reserve also boasts
one of the only areas left where indigenous Sterlitzia
plants can be found in South Africa. You can choose
between a guided walk or you can do it in your own
time. The route is marked for your convenience.
