Giraffe & Wildlife Sundowner Safari
Valley Bushveld Country Lodge & Safaris is home to a large herd of 17 giraffes and the only establishment that host such a large troop in the area. Due to our evergreen vegetation and the acacia thorn tree, the giraffes flourish on our spectacular farmstead.
We invite you to join us on a sunset tour on an open 4x4 safari vehicle to view these majestic animals in their natural environment, browsing and relaxing amongst bushes and thorn trees.
THE WALK OF A LIFETIME
We also take you on a guided walk with the giraffes when circumstances permit and watch their movements while they browse and bond with one another. To be a few meters from these gigantic animals on foot is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and offers exquisite photo opportunities.
A GUIDED TOUR
Our experienced guide takes you on tour to view the majestic giraffes as well as the thriving wildlife, such as the famous kudu, the beautiful impala, the mighty wildebeest, the impressive zebras, the striking nyalas, vervet monkeys, and many more. You will enjoy an exciting ride on an open 4x4 safari vehicle while admiring the spectacular views and gathering information that will leave you stunned.

from UKA Truly Amazing place with Delicious Food, Wonderful Hosts and Beautiful Zebra's and Giraffes. Valley Bushveld Country Lodge was one of the highlights of my three month road trip in SA. As you enter you are greeted by Zebras, Giraffes, Wildebeest and the odd monkey. Trails galore walking around the property with theses amazing animals where you can get some wonderful photos.

from GermanyWe loved our Giraffe tour with Kerneels, the owner, who taught us so many interesting details about the different animals on the farm. We went on several walks around the property, sometimes accompanied by a few giraffes, zebras or antilope, and were able to take photographs of some stunning views. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable five days and hope to return in the not too distant future.
Addo Elephant National Park
We offer guided tours to the Addo Elephant National Park. Your guide knows the area and the Park by heart and has a trained eye to spot wildlife. He can identify animals, knows the local history, has in-depth knowledge about the vegetation and local culture – all in all a definite item to add to your bucket list!
Alternatively you can use a self-drive option for those clients who would prefer to explore the region and game reserves independently and we can assist you in planning your safe routes from our lodge to various game parks and sights. You can use our Country Lodge as base camp from where you can travel each day to various destinations and back to our lodge in the evening and enjoy a scrumptious dinner and share your experiences with your hosts and co-guests. We know the area best so it is useful if we assist you in planning your safe routes.
